Jupiter’s Moons
Jupiter has the biggest moon in our solar system and the moons I am going to be talking about are :Europa/Ganymede/Callisto, only a few of the 95 moons of Jupiter. People most likely going to be able to survive on a few of these moons.

Europa
Europa is the sixth largest moon in our solar system measuring at 3, 100 kilometers ( 1,940 miles) that’s just smaller than earth’s moon! Europa’s days are 3.5 earth days, that’s 85 hours which is also Europa’s year. Gravity on Europa is very low, it is 1.315 m/s2 and Earth’s Gravity is 9.807 m/s2. Scientists think that we may be able to live on Europa because under its icy surface is water but the thing is that we won’t be able to land because of the low gravity and the surface temperature is a stunning -350 degrees Fahrenheit (-176 C )

Ganymede
Ganymede is the largest moon in our solar system and the size of ganymede is about 1,635 miles! (2,631 km)! Ganymede has a surface mostly consisting of ice surrounding the rock shell. Fun fact Ganymede was named after Olympian God who was carried by Zeus and was disguised as an eagle. A year on Ganymede is 172 hours and a day is 30 hours! tThe temperature is -297 to -171 degrees fahrenheit. The gravity on Ganymede is 1.428 m/s2 but earth has 9.807 m/s2!

Callisto
Callisto is the second largest moon and the third largest moon in our solar system and measures 9,410 miles (15,144 kilometers) seems quite big but only 0.413 earths can fit inside. Callisto is very cold and you would get frostbite all over because of the astonishing -218 degrees fahrenheit!
The icy surface is covered in craters in heaps of different shapes and sizes. Callisto orbits Jupiter at 1,883,000 km away, which is about 6 times further than our moon is away from earth!

As you can see Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system but also has amazing moons that have much to learn about. I hope you enjoyed this Doc and learnt something new.
